GE Vernova has secured a 1.35 GW pumped-storage project order from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd for the Upper Sileru project in Andhra Pradesh. The project includes nine 150 MW units and is expected by 2030. It will provide large-scale energy storage, support grid stability, and integrate renewables, while also boosting local manufacturing, jobs, and skills development in India.
