In Maharashtra, GAIL (India) Ltd will develop a 100 MW captive solar power project with a 22 MWh battery energy storage system in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district. The project will primarily supply power to GAIL’s PDH-PP plant at Usar in Raigad. This initiative forms part of GAIL’s ₹3,800 crore renewable expansion plan, strengthening clean energy capacity and supporting sustainable industrial operations in the state.
