SECI awarded a tender for manufacturing, testing, packing, supply, and transportation of 260 MWp domestically produced solar PV modules with domestically manufactured solar cells. The successful bidder is FS India Solar Ventures Pvt Ltd, with an awarded contract value of ₹474 Crore. The project supports India’s push for domestic solar manufacturing under the Make in India initiative, enhancing local production capabilities, strengthening the renewable energy supply chain, and contributing to the country’s renewable energy capacity targets.
