Ashok Leyland, part of the Hinduja Group, plans to launch its first hydrogen truck within 18-24 months, as revealed by CTO Dr. N Saravanan. This follows the delivery of electric trucks to Billion Electric Mobility, part of a contract for 180 trucks worth Rs 150 crore. The company aims to produce 5,000 units annually at its Hosur facility.
