Freja Offshore has secured a Natura 2000 permit for its 2500MW Mareld Offshore Wind Farm off Bohuslän, Sweden. A Joint Venture of Hexicon and Mainstream Renewable Power, Mareld could supply 12TWh annually, powering two million homes. The permit ensures environmental considerations while awaiting final government approvals under Sweden’s SEZ and KSL laws.
