SRF Ltd has received board approval to invest Rs 600 crore via wholly-owned subsidiary SRF Altech for a battery-grade aluminium foil plant at Jetapur, Madhya Pradesh. The facility will manufacture foil for lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries used in EVs and energy storage, with total capacity of 12,000 metric tons per annum.
