Australia-based Fortescue has started construction of the 440 MW Solomon Airport solar farm in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, set to become the state’s largest solar project upon completion in 2028. The farm will feature around 671,000 panels and contribute to Fortescue’s Real Zero target.
