Fincantieri and Viking have announced the launch of the world's first hydrogen-powered cruise ship, the "Viking Libra," which is under construction at the Fincantieri Ancona shipyard in Italy and set for delivery in 2026. This ship will feature a state-of-the-art hydrogen propulsion system, enabling zero-emission operations and access to environmentally sensitive areas.
