FICCI's Electric Vehicle Committee Chair, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, called for reducing GST on Batteries and Charging services to 5% to make Electric Vehicles (EVs) more affordable. She also urged enhancing the PM E-Drive scheme's budget to support EV sales. Motwani emphasized affordable financing for EVs, while Mahindra's Anish Shah highlighted the need for appealing EV products to boost adoption.
