Exide Industries has invested an additional ₹99.9 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) to accelerate development of a multi-gigawatt lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility in India. The investment is part of the previously approved ₹1,400 crore funding plan and keeps Exide’s ownership at 100%.
