Exide Industries invested ₹200 crore in wholly owned subsidiary Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) to fund its greenfield lithium-ion battery manufacturing project in Bengaluru. EESL allotted 5.71 crore equity shares on a rights basis, while Exide’s ownership remained at 100%. The latest investment raises Exide Industries’ cumulative investment in EESL to ₹5,102.
