The Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) is inviting developers to submit Expressions of Interest for a new Wind Power farm in Al Sila, UAE, with a capacity of up to 140 MW. This project will more than double the UAE’s wind generation capacity, supplying clean energy for 36,000 homes and significantly reducing carbon emissions, supporting Abu Dhabi’s Clean Energy Strategic Target 2035.
