The European Union has launched a €600 million funding call under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Energy to support key cross-border infrastructure projects. This initiative includes hydrogen, electricity, smart grids, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies. The funding aims to accelerate the development of Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) and Projects of Mutual Interest (PMIs), fostering collaboration between EU and non-EU countries to achieve energy and climate goals.
