SCCL is establishing a BESS with a capacity of 1MW/2.5MWh at its solar power plant in Singareni. It’s a pilot project which will save solar power worth 13 Lakh/month. The project costs Rs. 2.5 Crore for 1 MW. According to the Chairman and MD, Mr. N. Balram, Rs. 4.8 crores can be saved in electricity bills with this project.
