Chinese firm Envision Energy has secured a 500 MW contract to supply onshore wind projects in eastern India, developed by Evren, Brookfield Renewables’ India-based subsidiary. The order includes 152 EN156/3.3 MW turbines totaling 501.6 MW in Andhra Pradesh. Envision, with over 2.5 GW of turbines already installed in India, will support the country’s renewable growth.
