India Power Corporation Ltd has launched its first EV charging station in collaboration with ChargET in Salt Lake’s Sector V, capable of charging 60 EVs simultaneously. The station will initially use thermal power but will switch to Solar Energy in six months. The company plans to expand Solar-powered stations in regions like Asansol and Raniganj.
