Envision Energy India, holding a 45% market share in wind turbine manufacturing, plans to invest ₹500 crore to expand operations, raising its total investment in India to ₹1,000 crore since 2016. With a 10–12 GW order book, it aims to scale production to 5 GW annually. The firm is building a second blade plant near Ahmedabad, expanding its Trichy unit, and setting up a gearbox facility in Pune, aligning with MNRE’s new localization requirements.
