German renewable company Enertrag SE received municipal approval for a 200 MW/800 MWh battery at Bertikow, enhancing hybrid wind-solar energy integration. The project, part of the Verbundkraftwerk hybrid plant, combines wind, solar, storage, and hydrogen production. Scheduled for Q3 2027, it will balance fluctuating renewable feed-ins, increase grid flexibility, and support clean energy adoption.
