Italy’s Enel SpA has agreed to acquire an 830 MW US portfolio of operating wind and solar farms for around USD 1 billion. The deal, through Enel Green Power North America and EGPNA Project Holdco 2, is being purchased from Excelsior Energy Capital. Expected to generate 2.1 TWh annually, it will add about USD 145 million per year to Enel’s consolidated EBITDA.
