The adoption of Electric Two-Wheelers in India is gradually increasing, with projections suggesting a rise to over 13% market share by 2026-27, up from 5% in FY24. However, recent reductions in incentives have kept shares in the 4-7% range. The Union Cabinet approved a Rs 10,900 crore scheme to promote electric mobility, offering significant subsidies.
