Econergy has signed financing agreements for its Părău 2 solar-plus-storage project in Romania’s Brașov County. The project combines 342 MW of solar PV with a 150 MW battery energy storage system, supported by approximately €229 million in financing from a six-lender consortium. It also secured Romania’s largest capacity award under the Contracts for Difference mechanism, covering 125 MW at US$57.
