EBRD funds Infinity Power’s 200MW Egyptian Wind Project

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing USD 74.1 million to fund Infinity Power’s 200-MW wind farm in Ras Ghareb, Egypt. The package includes loans from the Green Climate Fund and grants, with co-financing from Proparco and JICA. The project will produce 810,000 MWh annually, reducing 390,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
