Eastman Auto & Power has operationalized an 800 MW solar PV module manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana. The plant strengthens the company’s backward integration, enabling end-to-end solar solutions including modules, inverters, and energy storage batteries. The modules comply with domestic content requirement (DCR) norms set by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, supporting government solar programs and initiatives like PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana while promoting rooftop solar adoption and domestic manufacturing.
