Denmark's Orsted agreed to sell a 50% stake in Britain’s 2.9 GW Hornsea 3 offshore wind project to Apollo for about 39 billion Danish crowns, helping avoid a credit rating downgrade and restore investor confidence. Apollo will also fund half of remaining construction costs. The sale supports Orsted’s capital plan amid inflation, supply chain disruptions and political uncertainty.
