Delhi EV Policy 2026 introduces a comprehensive roadmap to expand EV charging infrastructure by mandating at least one public charging station at every OEM dealership, each with 3 charging points for electric two/three-wheelers and 2 for four-wheelers. The policy establishes a single-window clearance system for charging and battery-swapping infrastructure, designates Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) as the nodal agency, promotes community charging through RWAs, supports grid upgrades with Energy Storage Systems, and strengthens battery recycling and traceability under Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022.
