The Delhi Cabinet approved a ₹30,000 subsidy for installing 3 kW Rooftop Solar Panels, with an additional ₹10,000 per kilowatt. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa highlighted the central government’s ₹78,000 subsidy under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. The government also plans to partner with banks, enabling easy loans for solar panel installation, so people won’t have to pay upfront costs and can save ₹4,200 monthly.
