Delhi has approved five battery energy storage systems (BESS) with a combined capacity of 97.5 MW to strengthen its power infrastructure. Installed across Dwarka, Bindapur, Hari Nagar, Sagarpur, and Pappankala-2, the systems will improve grid reliability, manage peak electricity demand, and support renewable energy integration.
