Cosmic PV Power signed an MoU with Indygreen Technologies to set up a 2 GW lithium-ion BESS production line in Surat by March 2026, marking its entry into India’s energy storage space. The deal was inked at REI Expo 2025. Demand clarity and supportive policy are driving the move. This follows Cosmic’s recent acquisition of 60 acres in Madhya Pradesh for a 4 GW solar cell facility, accelerating its transition toward fully integrated clean energy manufacturing.
