ContourGlobal has signed a 3 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) supply agreement with CATL for three global projects. The order will deploy CATL’s lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology across the 500 MW/2,000 MWh Wallace project in Scotland, 100 MW/400 MWh Taxiarches project in Greece, and 90 MW/360 MWh Los Maitenes solar-plus-storage project in Chile.
