A consortium led by Dai Dung Metallic Manufacture Construction and Trade Corporation has proposed an $850 million investment to build a high-capacity 5GWh battery plant in Ho Chi Minh City’s Saigon Hi-Tech Park. The facility will support power storage for industrial and residential use, plus R&D in battery technology, robotics, and urban rail engineering.
