Scientific and Industrial Testing and Research Center (SITARC) EV Foundation premises in Coimbatore will be having a common facility center for testing electric vehicle motors and controllers at a cost of INR 9.97 cr of which 90% will be state funded and 10% by SITARC. The facility will also be providing crucial training to help local industries transition from traditional induction motors to EV.
