CIP and Friesen Elektra Announce 800 MW Green Hydrogen Plant in Germany

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Friesen Elektra Green Energy AG have launched Project Anker, an 800 MW green hydrogen production facility in Sande, Germany. Initially starting with 400 MW electrolysis capacity, the project aims to expand to 800 MW. It will produce 80,000 tons of green hydrogen annually, powered by renewable energy, and reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 2.
