Coal India Limited has received an LOA from Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO) for a 187.5 MW / 750 MWh Battery Energy Storage System at Choutuppal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Telangana. The project, costing ₹1,057.09 crore, carries a tariff of ₹3.14 lakh per MW per month and will be completed within 18 months.
