Shandong Province in eastern China has approved 96 new Energy Storage Projects totaling 18.6 GW for 2025, reflecting a strong commitment to accelerating Energy Storage deployment. The list, released by the provincial Energy Administration on July 9, includes 81 lithium-ion peak-shaving projects, large-scale compressed air, and other advanced technologies like flywheel and molten salt.
