Chile is launching a $2.8 billion tax credit initiative to stimulate domestic Green Hydrogen (H2V) demand and investment, especially in the Magallanes region. The Energy Ministry plans to submit a bill this legislative session, with $700 million in incentives by 2025 and a subsidy cap of $5/kg. The credits will apply to companies using H2V and will taper to $300 million by 2030.
