ChemVolt Global, led by Kuldeep Gupta, signed an MoU with Andhra Pradesh to establish a 5 GWh lithium-ion cell gigafactory with $2,500 crore investment. The phased project, starting with 1 GWh by Q3 2027 and expanding to 5 GWh by Q2 2029, will produce 314 Ah and 750 Ah prismatic cells for grid-scale, heavy EV, and commercial applications.
