The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has granted Change in Law relief to Avaada Sunrays for its 320 MW Rajasthan solar project, citing GST rate hikes and mandatory Great Indian Bustard protection measures. The Commission ruled these post-PPA developments caused unforeseen costs and approved compensation through a 15-year annuity mechanism with interest.
