The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has approved a ₹2.6/kWh tariff for 900 MW of Interstate Transmission System (ISTS)-connected Solar Power Projects by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), along with a ₹0.07/kWh trading margin. SECI had earlier selected bidders for 2,000 MW Solar Projects.
