The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) approved a levelized tariff of Rs 4.01 per unit for SECI’s solar-plus-storage project in Chhattisgarh, lower than SECI’s revised request of Rs 4.22. The 100 MW solar project with 40 MW/120 MWh battery storage faced cost escalations due to GST hikes and land revisions.
