BW ESS & ACL Energy have expanded their partnership to co-develop 11 new Battery Energy Storage Projects in Italy, adding 2.5 GW capacity. This increases their joint pipeline to 14 projects, totaling 2.9 GW. Seven projects are under review by Italy’s Environmental Ministry. The northern projects will join the capacity market, while southern ones will bid on electricity storage capacity mechanisms.
