Bulgaria added 1,416 MW of solar in 2025, marking the third consecutive year surpassing 1 GW and bringing total capacity to 5,984 MW, dominated by utility-scale projects. The market is also seeing growth in hybrid and standalone battery storage, improving system flexibility and mitigating price volatility.
