BPCL and BARC collaborate to make cost efficient Alkaline Electrolyser.

BPCL and BARC have teamed up to cut the cost of alkaline electrolyzers by 50%. As of May 2023, the alkaline electrolyzer costs around $800/KW. In 2021, BPCL and BARC joined forces to expand alkaline electrolyzer technology. BARC has partnered with a startup called Newtrace to develop affordable electrolyzers.
