Bondada Engineering, based in Telangana, has secured a ₹204.20 crore order from TGGENCO to develop a 50 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project under a 12-year power purchase agreement. This is Bondada’s first BESS order, to be executed within 18 months. The project is part of TGGENCO’s 500 MWh BESS tender under a viability gap funding scheme and aligns with Telangana’s Renewable Energy Policy 2025, which targets 20 GW of Renewable and Storage capacity by 2030.
