The Bihar government has announced its Green Hydrogen Policy 2026, targeting production of 1 lakh tonnes of green hydrogen and green ammonia annually by 2031. The plan includes 1 GW electrolyser capacity and 2.5 GW renewable energy development to support clean fuel generation. The policy aims to attract ₹16,000 crore investment, promote industrial clusters, and build hydrogen hubs.
