Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has signed a Technology Transfer Agreement with the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) for indigenous diaphragm technology used in alkaline electrolysers, a critical component for green hydrogen production. This deal enables BHEL to manufacture electrolysers domestically, reducing reliance on costly imports and supporting India's National Green Hydrogen Mission.
