OMV secures €123 million from Austria’s aws to build a 140 MW green hydrogen electrolyzer in Bruck an der Leitha. The plant will supply hydrogen to the Schwechat refinery, cutting 150,000 tons of CO2 annually. Using PEM electrolysis and renewable power from nearby wind and solar, OMV aims to decarbonize hard-to-abate industries.
