Atome has taken final investment decision on its 145MW green hydrogen fertiliser plant in Villeta, Paraguay, backed by a $665m financing package. Scheduled for operation by October 2029, the project will produce 260,000 tonnes of green calcium ammonium nitrate annually for Yara International under a 10-year agreement.
