Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the Assam Cabinet's approval of a mega industrial park in Morigaon, covering 569 bighas (188+ acres). The cabinet also approved the Assam Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2025 to boost Solar, Wind, Hydro, and Hydrogen Energy Projects. Additionally, the state will establish Sikhna Jwhwlao National Park between Raimona and Manas, and offer Post Graduate increments to Ayurvedic doctors completing their 3-year course.
