The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has committed up to AU$105.6 million to fund 20 solar research and development projects, its largest single solar R&D investment to date. The initiative focuses on reducing large-scale solar costs through advances in cell and module efficiency, durability, stability, and manufacturing, alongside cheaper construction, operations and maintenance.
