The Andhra Pradesh Government has approved allocation of land for two 1,000 MW ultra-mega solar parks in YSR Kadapa and Kurnool districts. The land will be transferred to Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Limited for leasing to developers over 33 years under a revised lease-based model. The move aims to boost solar capacity while retaining state ownership.
